Sunday worship 11:00 a.m. The first part of the service is for families, and an address suited to the children is given during this time. The younger children are often welcome to come and sit at the front of the church for this talk where visual illustrations may be shown.  After the children’s talk and a benediction, parents take their children to the nursery or the Sunday School. A 15 to 20 minute sermon is given for the adults during the latter half of the service.

Sunday School

The purpose of Sunday School is to familiarize children with the stories of the Bible and to instill in them an affection for those stories.

  • Nursery – children under age four.
  • Junior – children from ages four through fourth grade.
  • Seniors – children in grades fifth through eight. After eighth grade, young people are expected to remain for the adult portion of the service.

Informal Family Service – Monthly Service

This service also begins at 11:00 am and is held once a month in the sanctuary.  Now that it is newly renovated it provides for variations style and presentation. Dress is less formal, if you wish, and the format of the service includes a greater degree of interaction between the minister and the congregation and is usually accompanied by guitars.
